Voiceover's my Chapter Two. I spent Chapter  One piloting very big jets around the world; I had a lot of fun, a few close shaves and somewhere along the way became a grown-up. But I suspected that life had other plans for me.

 

I moonlight as a content writer because I'm fascinated by the magic of words and how they can change the way we feel. And I've always enjoyed talking – so it made sense to do it professionally!

Thus, forged anew in the caverns of RichCraft under the expert guidance of Tanya Rich and her team, I put my vocal cords to work. 

 

Training in voiceover's a bit like trying to catch a butterfly; just when you think you've grasped it, it slips from your fingers and flutters away. The magic lies in a thousand nuances, and no two scripts are the same. But that's also what makes it wonderful, and there's no better feeling than when you get the message across exactly as intended.

 

When not making facial contortions behind the mic, you can usually find me outdoors – either running up a mountain, watching the sunrise from a beach or roaming the moors of my West Yorkshire home. I'm known for scribbling poetry on the back of almost any flat surface, and the passport still gets an occasional outing. It's a big, wide world, after all...
